Ifeanyi Adeleke: Wizkid Postpones ‘More Love, Less Ego’ Album

Nigerian superstar Wizkid has reportedly postponed the release of his forthcoming album ‘More Love, Less Ego’ which was scheduled to be released on November 4.

The album release date has now been shifted to November 11, 2022.

The postponement is in honour of the tragic death of Davido's son Ifeanyi Adeleke.

Wizkid earlier reacted to the sad news by deleting some of the album promotional tweets he posted hours before the news.

He is also reported to have cancelled some performances in the wake of the toddler's passing.

Ifeanyi died on Monday night after drowning in the family pool.

Following his death, eight domestic staff were picked up by the Lagos State Police Command for questioning.

On Wednesday, six of the staff were released while the cook and nanny are still being detained.

An autopsy will also be conducted to determine whether Ifeanyi died as a result of drowning in his father's swimming pool.

A source who spoke on the tragic incident said it is standard procedure for the police to conduct an autopsy in such cases but will not go ahead with it if the Adelekes don't want it.
