Ifeoluwa Bamidele, the woman who fled after setting her Cairo-based husband, Bolu, ablaze has been found dead.
Ifeoluwa had set her husband, ablaze in their apartment at Koka, Obokun local government area of Osun State on Sunday on grounds of infidelity and fathering a child outside wedlock.
Bolu who was rushed to the University College Hospital, Ibadan later gave up the ghost and information has it that he has been buried on Wednesday in Osogbo.
The elder brother of Bolu, Olabode Bamidele, who disclosed that Ifeoluwa had committed suicide added that her corpse has been deposited at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Hospital, Jalayemi Hospital.
Olabode also disclosed that Ifeoluwa left some suicide notes which are in the custody of the family lawyer as of the time of filing this report.
The Osun State Police Command had earlier declared the young woman wanted for the alleged crime.
The Osun State Police Command spokesperson, Yemisi Opalola revealed that the woman committed suicide on Thursday night, July 21, at about 7 pm.
The police spokesperson disclosed that efforts to reach Ifeoluwa who initially went into hiding in Ekiti State yielded results on Thursday after she was able to get a Non-Governmental Organisation to mediate.
Opalola said Ifeoluwa stated that she was in Aramokoko and that it would be difficult for her to get transportation to Osogbo.
Opalola said she then instructed some personnel to go and get her from where she was.
