The Eastern Security Network (ESN), a security outfit supposedly based in Eastern Nigeria, responsible for curbing insecurity in the region, has been involved in yet another confrontation with the Joint Security Taskforce (JTF) of the Imo State government's 'Operation Search and Flush' patrol team.
Recall AllNews reported about a week ago that Nnamdi Kanu, the controversial leader of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) who not long ago announced the creation of the ESN from his base in a foreign country, warned that Nigerian security forces should avoid searching for the group if they don't want to be met with roughness.
Although Kanu had posted on his known Facebook page that it was the police that "met ESN in Orlu bush" - the same claim made by the person filming and speaking in the video, findings by AllNews revealed that the van in the clip belongs to the 'Operation Search and Flush' patrol team.
'Operation Search and Flush' is a combined team of security agencies in Imo State, comprising of the Police, Army, Airforce, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), etc.
Happening in Orlu.

On Monday, multiple videos depicting a serious confrontation between Nigerian security operatives and Nnamdi Kanu's loyalists in Okporo Orlu emerged online.
Chinwe Nchekwube, an indigene of Orlu, who spoke to AllNews confirmed the development.

AllNews reached out to Orlando Ikeokwu, the Imo State Police Command Spokesperson for his comments regarding the news, and he told us: "I understand there is a military operation going on at the moment there. I will give you more information once I get the facts."
Kanu is slated to make his routine broadcast later today.
