Independence Day Nigeria 2020: Buhari Makes U-Turn, To Addre

Femi Adesina, the Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and publicity has announced that his principal will now address Nigerians by 7 am as part of the activities to celebrate Nigeria's Independence Day. 

This announcement is contrary to an earlier statement by Adesina where he said that the President was going to have an open-air Independence day address at Eagles square in Abuja by 10 am.

All television, radio, and other electronic media outlets are expected to connect with to network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) respectively for the address.

In the new statement, Adesina said the President will after the 7 am broadcast, proceed to Eagle Square, Abuja to review the Anniversary Parade and join in other activities beginning at 10 am, which will be covered live by major television and radio stations.

AllNews had earlier reported Adesina's statement that announced that President Buhari will be giving his independent day address at the eagles square in Abuja.
