INEC Declares Ibadan North East, South East Federal Constituency Election Inconclusive

News making the rounds reveal that the election in the Ibadan North East/South East federal constituency has been completed has been debunked by the nation's electoral umpire.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Oyo State made this known in Tuesday via its spokesperson, Olayiwola Awolowo.

"The election in Oluyole and Ibadan North East/South East federal constituencies remain inconclusive."

He stated that no date had been fixed for a rescheduled polls in the affected polling units.

INEC had declared the election inconclusive as election in three polling units were far more than the margin.

Also, checks revealed that the Ibadan North East, South East and Oluyole Federal Constituency winners were missing in the list of House of Representatives’ Members-elect released by the Commission on Tuesday.

The commission put “Supplementary Election” in the column meant for the winner.
