The Controller General of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Ahmed Abubakar Audi has summoned top officials to an emergency meeting in Abuja.
It was gathered that Audi called for the meeting as part of measures to curb the rising insecurity in the country.
According to PUNCH, security advancement at the various correctional facilities across the country and monitoring of private guards, among others, would top discussions with the senior officers.
It was also gathered that riot acts would be read to the Senior officers at the meeting.
