Ray Huspuppi’s arrest was first disclosed by popular investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, on Tuesday night.
In a series of posts on her Twitter handle, Olunloyo revealed that he alongside Woodberry were reportedly arrested by Interpol in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
AllNews reports that Hushpuppi’s arrest comes months after his accomplice, Mompha was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over fraudulent transactions.
According to Olunloyo, Hushpuppi and Woodberry reportedly stole COVID-19 stimulus cash through fraudulent employment benefits.
