Intellectual Theft: Blackface Explains Why He Deserves To Be Recognised [Video]

Blackface has explained why he deserves to be recognised on Asake's hit song, 'Joha'.

The veteran singer revealed in an interview with HipTV that he felt he should have been in the song because some of his lines were used in Joha.

According to him, 'Joha' should have been a collaboration between him and Asake.

Taking a shot at Asake's record label boss, Olamide, Blackface stated that if Olamide had reached out to him, there would have been a collaboration.

When Blackface first heard the song, the first thing that struck him was the line that he used in his own song, which was released in 2020.

He made it clear that he isn't trying to discredit Asake's work but simply wants to be recognised for it.
