International Women's Day: Five Remarkable Nigerian Women

International Women's Day: Five Remarkable Nigerian Women

The International Women's Day is an annual global day celebrated on March 8 to focus and commemorate the achievements of women in the social, economic, cultural and political spheres of life.

The day, which was adopted by the United Nations in 1977, also draws awareness to issues related to women such as gender equality, abuse, reproduction, violence, and the impact of climate change among others.
