INTERPOL Confirms Hushpuppi's Arrest, To Be Extradited To Ni

The International Police (INTERPOL) Nigeria has confirmed the arrest of an Instagram big boy, Ray Hushpuppi arrest and said that he will extradited to Nigeria.

AllNews reports that Hushpuppi alongside Woodberry were reportedly arrested by Interpol in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) for allegedly stealing COVID-19 stimulus cash through fraudulent employment benefits.

Commissioner of Police (CP) INTERPOL, Garba Umar confirmed that they were working to bring the socialite to Nigeria to face fraud charges.

Umar said: “It is true that Hushpuppi was arrested by the INTERPOL. We are currently working on bringing him to Nigeria to face charges of fraud

“Some of the offences were committed here in Nigeria and he has to answer for them. He is not alone in it; there are accomplices in the country who we are currently on their trail,” said the CP.

This platform reports that Hushpuppi’s arrest comes months after his accomplice, Mompha was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over fraudulent transactions.
