Nigeria's number 2 and world number 92 table tennis player, Olajide Omotayo, has picked legendary athlete, Segun Toriola, as the greatest Nigerian table tennis player in history.
Allnews reports that Toriola has been amongst the top table tennis players in Africa since the mid-1990s.
Nigeria boasted top talent in the shape of Quadri Aruna, Segun Toriola, Olufunke Oshonaike, Atanda Musa, Yomi Bankole, et al, but 'Prince of Nigerian table tennis', Olajide, though full of praise for all the legends, chooses Toriola as the best of them all.

"So many people always bring this conversation up," Olajide told Allnews exclusively on Wednesday in a Live Instagram Chat when quizzed on the greatest.
"We have Atanda Musa, we have Segun Toriola.
"Aruna is already in this league - of the greatest.
"But we cannot put Aruna there now, because Aruna hasn't stopped playing.
"Aruna might surpass them. In terms of longevity, Segun Toriola played till the age of 45. Atanda Musa too won so many titles.
"Aruna is in this league. But in my opinion, I will choose Segun Toriola. Because he won All African Games consecutively four times. He ruled Africa for so many years.
"When he was ruling Africa, nobody was battling with him.
"So I would choose Segun Toriola.
"I don't know; In the next 10 years, I might change (my stance). But as of today, I would choose Segun Toriola."
Olympic-bound Olajide has been in total lockdown due to coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in Italy, where he plays for ASD Genova.
