IPOB alleges Nigerian Army carrying out ethnic cleansing in

The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has vehemently condemned the Nigerian Army's alleged ethnic cleansing agenda in Abia State, which has resulted in the indiscriminate arrest and detention of numerous innocent Igbo youths.

In a statement released by IPOB's Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, the group denounced the Nigerian Army's actions as a deliberate attempt to intimidate and terrorize the Igbo population.

The statement reads, "The continuous intimidation, illegal arrest, torture, and forceful disappearance of Igbo youths by the Nigerian Army is part of an ethnic cleansing agenda against Ndigbo. This agenda is aimed at forcefully displacing Igbo youths from their ancestral lands, allowing Fulani terrorists to invade and occupy our communities without resistance."

IPOB accused the Nigerian Army of orchestrating a false flag operation that led to the killing of five soldiers at Obikabia military checkpoint on May 30, which has been used as a pretext to launch a crackdown on Igbo youths in Abia State.

The group challenged the Nigerian Army to produce evidence of their investigation and reveal the posting records of the soldiers deployed to the checkpoint on that day.

The statement further reads, "We challenge the Nigerian Army to show the world the record of the results of the investigation that showed and records that show the posting of soldiers that day. Let the world see that they destroyed only Ndigbo in Nigeria army and decided to accuse IPOB-ESN for the attack and murder of the soldiers at the Obikabia military checkpoint on 30th May."

IPOB warned Governor Alex Otti of Abia State to be cautious not to fall into the trap of using the false flag operation against his citizens, advising him to focus on addressing the real security challenges facing the state rather than allowing himself to be manipulated by the Nigerian Army's agenda.
