IPOB Saved Nigerians, Says Kanu

IPOB Saved Nigerians, Says Kanu

Biafra agitators

Kanunta Kanu, younger brother of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), on Monday claimed that Nigerians would soon appreciate the outlawed group.

According to Kanu, the separatist organization “saved” Nigerians ‘at the hands of people from the foothills of the #FutaJallon.’

“One day, #Nigerians will come to appreciate the fact that it was #IPOB that saved all of them at the hands of these people from the foothills of the #FutaJallon.”
Without apologies #ESN, has forever come to stay, and we do not owe #Fulanis any explanation on it.”
#FreeBiafra,” Kanu wrote on his known Twitter handle.

IPOB news

Outlawed IPOB is attempting to revive the now defunct Republic of Biafra, a declaration of independence which led to a 30-month civil war between 1967 and 1970.

More than one million people, mostly Igbo, were killed in the fighting or by starvation and disease.
