A 10-story building collapse in south-western Iran on Monday has killed four people and injured dozens of others.
Anadolu News Agency reports that Mojtaba Khaledi, the spokesman for Iran's national medical emergency organisation, said 25 people were injured in the collapse.
It added that more than 150 people were inside the under-construction Metro Pol commercial building when it collapsed.
Mehdi Valipour, the Head of Iran's Red Crescent Society, was quoted as saying that at least 80 people could be trapped under the rubble.
Provincial officials in Abadan said the building was under construction in a congested residential area, which could push the toll higher.
Also Waheed Shabani, Managing Director of the Red Crescent Society in the Khuzestan province, said four rapid reaction teams from neighbouring cities were dispatched to the area to assist with rescue and relief efforts.
