Turkey and Iran are supporting Syria's territorial integrity and political unity, Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said on Tuesday.
Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu and Iranian counterpart Hossein Amirabdollahian touched upon the recent contacts between the two neighbors.
Çavuşoğlu also added that they are planning a meeting at the foreign ministry level.
Although no date has been decided yet, Turkey, Syria and Russia hope to organize a meeting between their foreign ministers this month.
On his part, Amirabdollahian said Iran is very pleased by the ties that is being shared between Turkey and Syria.
