The paramount ruler Mbra Irigwe of Irigwe land was on Friday attacked by irate youths in his palace.
This was made known in a statement signed by Ishaku Takwa, Military Information Officer for Operation Safe Haven (OPSH).
According to the statement, troops of Operation Safe Haven were notified of an attack on the palace of Mbra Ngwe Irigwe, the paramount ruler of Irigwe land of Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State.
"The attack was carried out by Irate youths suspected to be Irigwe youth of Bassa Local Government.
"Troops of Operation Safe Haven have been mobilized to the scene to ensure law and order is restored to the area." the statement read.
