Israel has continued its attacks on Gaza in response to rockets fired by Palestinian groups, resulting in the death of at least 24 people.
The Gaza Health Ministry had reported seven deaths on Wednesday, while Israeli strikes on the Palestinian territory left 15 dead a day earlier.
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine reported that four of the victims on Wednesday were its fighters.
And on Thursday, three more deaths were reported following an early morning strike in Khan Younia in the southern part of Gaza.
Gaza-based writer Rana Shubair said the Israeli attacks took them "by surprise completely."
Israel officials said that more than 400 rockets had been fired, with most being intercepted or falling in open areas.
United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres condemned the civilian deaths in Gaza as "unacceptable" and appealed for them to "stop immediately" and for all parties to exercise maximum restraint.
