    Israel and the Greek Cypriot administration are carrying out extensive military exercises, including airborne operations and combat drills.

    The exercise which is dubbed the Agapenor-22 began over the weekend and is scheduled to continue until June 2.

    Media hub - the Cyprus Radio reported on Monday, citing the Defense Ministry said that the Israeli Navy was also taking part in the exercise.

    It added that in recent years, Israel and the Greek Cypriot administration have moved strategically closer and hold joint military drills several times.
