Israeli Forces Open Fire On Palestinian Youth In Ramallah Raid

During a raid by Israeli forces into the Palestinian city of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, a violent clash erupted, resulting in at least six people being hospitalized, three of whom sustained gunshot wounds.

Witnesses reported that a large Israeli military convoy arrived in downtown Ramallah early on Thursday, leading to the gathering of hundreds of Palestinians in the area.

The Israeli forces, allegedly on an operation to demolish a home in Ramallah, responded to stone-throwing Palestinian youth with live bullets, stun grenades, and tear gas.

According to the Palestinian health ministry, six individuals were transferred to the hospital for treatment, including three with gunshot wounds.

The Palestinian news agency WAFA documented that around 100 Israeli military vehicles were part of the operation in Ramallah.

Reports on social media claimed that a Palestinian journalist was also shot by Israeli forces in Ramallah, drawing comparisons to the killing of Al Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh in 2022 during an Israeli raid on the occupied West Bank city of Jenin.
