Chibok Local Government Area of Borno State has been invaded by members of the Islamic State for West African Province (ISWAP), with three girls abducted during the subsequent operation.
The incident took place on Tuesday and reports say that the assailants attacked Yimirmigza from where the girls were taken.
Per a Daily Post report, after the abduction, the family of one of the victims was contacted by the insurgents. Also, a recorded conversation between the militant and a member of the family revealed that the ISWAP fighters are many.
According to the report, the family member asks the militant during the conversation how the girls can be released and he answers that he doesn't have such power as only the leaders can do so.
One of the girls, while conversing in the Chibok language, discloses that the ISWAP fighters are hundreds in their numbers.
"These people are too many. For now, we are only three girls in their custody", she stated.
