Singer Rema has said that it is a blessing for veterans in the music industry to give accolades to a young artiste.
According to the ‘Calm Down’ hitmaker, being told by music veterans that one is different, a source of inspiration or bringing something new to the table feels like a blessing.
“I feel like it's a blessing for OG to actually hit you up and tell you ‘Yo, you inspire me.
"I like what you do. You are different. You're bringing something new to the table.
"I see you taking the game to the next level’,” he said.
In September, Rema's ‘Calm Down’ track hit another milestone in France as it got certified Diamond for selling over 50 million units.
The French National Syndicate of Phonographic Publishing (SNEP) made an announcement on Twitter with the caption; “Le titre ‘Calm Down’ de Rema est certifié Single Diamant! 50 000 000 équivalents streams. Bravo!” which translates to, “Rema’s track ‘Calm Down’ is certified Diamond! ? 50,000,000 stream equivalents streams. Well done!”
