Itel, Airtel: Nigerians Set For Better Smartphone Service Days Ahead

One thing about smartphones, especially Android phones, is certain: Google’s feature-rich mobile operating system is packed with many useful tools that lie just beneath the surface.

Android is such a remarkably powerful, innovative mobile operating system that frequently leapfrogs Apple’s iOS in new technology support.

That state-of-the-art functionality makes for a complex, sprawling operating system.

At the surface level, the interface is simple enough for casual users who just want to text, make calls, and use apps, but hidden a layer or two deep in the interface are power-user-friendly settings and tools.

The only differentiating factor is for you to identify just what you need and where to look for it.

It is, perhaps, in furtherance of a whole lot of hidden but highly-resourceful features of smartphones that Itel Nigeria, in partnership with Airtel Nigeria, is stepping in to help Nigerians harness what they already own.

Itel Nigeria has said its new 4G itel A60 smartphone will provide smoother, faster, and more stable Internet connectivity at an affordable price for consumers.

In a statement by the organisation, itel’s Marketing Manager for West Africa 1, Mr Oke Umurhohwo, noted that in line with the 4G for everyone tagline, the itel A60 would bring a different dimension to how the brand’s targeted users surf the Internet and engendered an overall amazing experience for customers.

He added that even though itel had established itself as a first-rate maker of smartphones, accessories, and electronics, it would not rest on its oars in the bid to deliver quality products and services for its consumers.

Umurhohwo also revealed itel’s new strategic partnership with telecommunications firm, Airtel.

“itel’s partnership with Airtel is to continue to bring ease to consumers.

“The itel A60 is the first of its kind, combining affordability and efficiency without dropping the ball in terms of performance.”

Director of Corporate Communications, Airtel Nigeria, Adefemi Adeniran, said that Airtel was delighted to establish a prolific partnership that would go a long way in creating a strong value chain for the customers of both brands.

In his remarks, Airtel’s Marketing Director, Ismail Adeshina, reiterated Airtel’s commitment to delivering affordable innovation aimed to create meaningful experiences for Nigerians.

“Airtel is committed to delivering affordable innovations that will create a better and more meaningful experience for Nigerians, and we believe that this partnership will not only help us achieve that but also significantly contribute to building a solid experience for both customers of Itel and Airtel Nigeria,” he said.
