Nigerian midfielder Alex Iwobi has been awarded Everton's Players' Player of the Season accolade in recognition of his influential campaign.

The 27-year-old received the honour from his teammates after delivering consistent performances in various positions for the Toffees throughout the season.

Iwobi, who joined Everton from Arsenal in 2019, showcased his versatility and contributed significantly to the team's efforts. He scored two goals and provided the highest number of assists for the club, with an impressive tally of eight.

This marks the first time Iwobi has claimed the Players' Player of the Season award since his arrival at Everton. The midfielder built upon his strong form from the previous season, further establishing himself as a key player for the club.

Other awardees are Jordan Pickford who was picked the Men's Player of the Season and Goal of the Season was won by Seamus Coleman against relegated Leeds United

Everton narrowly avoided relegation with a crucial 1-0 victory over Bournemouth on the final day of the campaign.
