The Iyaloja of Oyo State, Alhaja Wuraola Asake-Kola Daisi has passed on at the age of 86.
AllNews reports that the son of the late Iyaloja, Chief Rotimi Jogunosinmi, a Mogaji of Jogunosinmi compound made this disclosure on behalf of the family.
Chief Rotimi revealed that the late Iyaloja will be buried today, Thursday, 22 October, 2020 at her Ring Road, Ibadan residence, near D’Rovans Hotel back off Omo Gafo by 4 pm according to Islamic rites.
He appreciated family members, the Oyo State Market Leaders Council; the South-West Coordinator of the National Association of Nigerian Traders, Mrs Odunaya Omokayode Danjuma and the Iyaloja of Ibadan land, Alhaja Risiwat Amerigun for the support given to the late Iyaloja during her reign.

The then Commissioner of Women Affairs, Social Welfare and Community Development, Deborah Oyelade during the administration of former Governor, Adebayo Alao Akala installed the late Iyaloja to the position in 2008.
