Iyanya Slams Netizens For Disrespecting Artistes’ Journeys

Nigerian singer Iyanya has expressed his frustration with netizens who consistently disrespect the journeys of artistes while expecting respect for their own paths.

In a series of tweets, he reminisced about his achievements since winning the MTN Project Fame competition in 2008.

Iyanya highlighted that despite initial doubts, he went on to release hit songs such as ‘Kukere’ and ‘Your Waist’, which gained massive popularity.

He mentioned numerous other successful tracks he has delivered over the years, including collaborations with artists like Flavour, Davido, and Kizz Daniel.

The singer acknowledged that he faced a period of being out of the limelight but emphasized that he is now back with a new focus.

He proudly announced the release of his second EP within a span of 14 months, showcasing his commitment to creating new music.

“Yes after sometime I was out, now I’m back, the foundation for a new iyanya has been laid and the house is currently being built and I promise you, we will roof part of it soon.( music)
