James Bond’s Favourite Car To Gets Mini Version For Kids

British luxury sports cars manufacturer, Aston Martin has announced its partnership with the Little Car Company to build a mini-version of James Bond’s favourite ride for kids, the DB5.

The mini-version moves rather quickly and is modeled after the legendary vehicle that James Bond first drove in Goldfinger was scaled down to a 2:3 size car for kids at $123,000 (₦50,614,500.00).

The replica is named No Time To Die Edition of the battery-powered Aston Martin DB5 Junior and comes equipped with all of the James Bond-style devices needed to avoid capture.

The Aston Martin DB5 has no roof, allowing children or adults to sit inside an\d it has a limited edition model, with just 125 units produced.

The two-seater faithfully recreates the DB5 greenhouse, but that doesn't matter because this mini-spy car has actual spy gadgets. Open a secret access panel in the passenger door and you'll find controls to drop the headlights, activating simulated machine guns. Another button changes the number on a digital license plate. If you need to evade baddies, smoke will shoot out the exhaust.

The James Bond Aston Martin DB5 is said to produce up to 21.5 horsepower and has a peak speed of between 45 and 50 miles per hour. The car also has various drive modes, some of which have lower top speeds for younger drivers.

The small car will not be permitted to drive on public roads according to Aston Martin, but owners can participate in special driving events at racing courses.

A spokesperson for Aston Martin, Nathan Hoyt said “we’d advise parents to make sure their children wear helmets and are supervised when driving,”
