Arsenal set to add some creativity to their midfield in the January transfer window as they might swoop in for former Tottenham playmaker, Christian Eriksen as the Danish player returns to the EPL.
AllNews understands that Eriksen has fallen out of favour under Antonio Conte scoring 4 goals and creating 3 in 38 appearances for the San Siro outfit.
Eriksen might be offered as a loan option given the COVID-19 economic constraint and may be less interested in a permanent option for the time being.
The 28-year old playmaker left Tottenham at a cut price of 25M euros for Inter Milan with the White Hart Lane counting their loss rather than lose him for free with just six months left in his contract and with no intentions of renewing.
Arsenal has been rather toothless in recent games - scoring less and losing consecutive matches which have left them closer to the relegation zones though with other weak sides below them on the EPL standings.
An addition like Eriksen with both EPL experience and creative skills could see some pressure off Mikel Arteta who has been tipped to be sack before the end of the season.
The Emirate camp still has out-of-favour Mesut Ozil in their squad as he was left out of all competition for the first half of the season and he could be re-introduced to the squad in January.
