Bayer Leverkusen are in advanced negotiations to sign Manchester United outcast defender Timothy Fosu-Mensah in the winter window before February 1st 2021.
Fosu 23, is a Netherland international who joined the Manchester United youth ranks in 2014 from Dutch heavyweights Ajax.
The versatile midfielder made his first-team debut in February 2016 under then-manager Louis van Gaal. But, the 23-year-old had struggled to carve out a place for himself in the side since.
Despite being with the club for over six years, Fosu-Mensah has made just 30 senior appearances.

After loan spells at Crystal Palace and Fulham, he has struggled to push his way into the United first team and Solskjaer confirmed last week that he would be able to leave having played just 108 minutes this season.
The Bundesliga outfit has been tipped to sign him for a reported fee of 1.5M euros.
Argentine duo Sergio Romero and Marcos Rojo could be joining Fosu-Mensah on the departures list with Solskjaer confirming the club would not be extending their current deals.
