January Transfer: Man Utd Has Not Signed Moises Caicedo

Manchester United has agreed on personal terms with Ecuadorian midfielder, Moises Caicedo, but a deal has not been completed yet. The club is in close contact with the player's agent though.

AllNews understands that many news outlets already confirm the signing of the midfielder as United first January signing but that is not true, as reliable sports Journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed that the deal is not yet complete in his post.

Manchester United are in direct contact with the agents of Moises Caicedo (Indep. del Valle).

Moise Caicedo 19, currently plays for Independiente del Valle as a midfielder.

Several reasons why the deal is not sealed include:

• Board and the club manager, Ole Gunner Solskjaer have not concluded on buying the midfielder yet as several players are in the midfield including new signing Van de Beek

• To obtain a work permit for the Ecuadorian in England will be difficult.
