Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck Not Ready To Take Relationship Further Yet

Despite being fully committed to each other, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck 'don't feel the need' to tie the knot yet.

They may have reunited after 17 years apart, but Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck aren't in a hurry to make up for lost time by getting married soon.

If recent reports indicate anything, it is that they both believe that a wedding, or even an engagement, is unnecessary despite the fact that they are "fully committed" to each other.

Jennifer Lopez has been married and engaged several times, and each time she was certain she had found "the one" with whom she would spend the rest of her life.

Unfortunately, that has not been the case, and as a result of a few failed relationships, she has learned to be much more cautious and not rush into a serious commitment, no matter how right it feels.

During an appearance on the Today Show, J.Lo dodged a question about how she's been 'happier since reuniting with an old flame.'

She simply stated that she is happy before shifting the conversation to the release of her new single, 'Love Makes the World Go Round'.

"I believe that message of loving one another and simply coming together and loving has never been more relevant than it is right now," she said.

But, while she kept most of the details of her relationship with Ben Affleck under wraps, a source told E! she hasn't been this happy in a long time.

The source disclosed: "They are fully committed to each other", before mentioning that following her recent split from former fiance, Alex Rodriguez, J.Lo and Ben agree that they don't need to 'get married' right now.

"They've been blending their lives and families and don't feel the need to get engaged or married just yet. They've both been there and don't think it's necessary to return.

"If it isn't broken, don't try to fix it. They are both happy in their relationship, and Ben simply adores her. It's truly meant to be, and everyone thinks they're a perfect match", the source revealed.
