The Jigawa State Executive Council has approved infrastructural projects worth N5.751 billion.
The projects include roads construction and hospital in the state.
This was disclosed to newsmen by the commissioner for information, youth, sport, and culture, Bala Ibrahim shortly after the council meeting in Jigawa.
He said the approval among others was the outcome of the state executive council meeting and added that construction of the second phase of Guri General Hospital has received approval of N282.6 million.
Ibrahim disclosed that the council also approved the sum of N3.540 billion for the construction of 23.5km Ringim to Doko road. He further stated that the government is committed to ensuring the timely completion of the projects through funding.
The Commissioner assured that the government is determined to bringing socio-economic development to the state, adding that welfare of the people is the top priority of the governor Badaru administration.
