A fire incident has reportedly gutted the office of the National Open University of Nigeria in Dutse, Jigawa State.
According to a source, the blaze, which burned for an hour in the early hours of Saturday, was put out with help from the state fire service, other security organizations, and good Samaritans.
Adamu Shehu, the NSCDC's spokesman, verified the event to DAILY POST.
The NOUN office, located on the fourth floor of the Federal secretariat in Dutse, he claimed, had been destroyed by the blaze. He claims that the fire's origin is still a mystery.
Additionally, he mentioned how security measures helped stop the flames from spreading to other areas of the secretariat complex.
Shehu also revealed that the fire outbreak is still being investigated.
