Jigawa Governor Presents Flags To APC Candidates In Gumel

The Governor of Jigawa State, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar has presented flags to the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates from Jigawa Northwest Senatorial zone. 

The presentation took place during the party's campaign at Gumel local government area of the state.

The event witnessed thousands of supporters as well as top party officials in the state. 

While addressing supporters, Governor Badaru urged the people of the state to vote for the APC from top to bottom.

He said the party had delivered dividends of democracy to its people while fulfilling all campaign promises. 

He further expressed the party's optimism to continue giving priority to the education and health sector while maintaining infrastructural and economic development in the state. 

In his remark, the deputy governor who doubles as the party's governorship candidate for the forthcoming 2023 election, Alhaji Umar Namadi assured the people to continue from the footsteps of the governor. 

While calling for them to give him the chance to govern the state, he stressed that the track records of the governor Badaru-led administration was unequalled to his predecessors.

He said the governor had proven his capacity beyond the past administrations in the history of the state.
