Jigawa Pays Febrauary Terminal Benefits

Jigawa State Government says it has paid terminal benefits for February 2022, amounting to N715.7 Million to 343 beneficiaries.

The State and Local Government Contributory Pension Board’s Executive Secretary, Kamilu Musa revealed this to newsmen on Thursday.

He said 198 beneficiaries from the state got N484.9 Million while 78 retirees from the Local government were paid N107.1 Million respectively.

He explained that 67 retirees from the Local government Education Authority were given N123.6 Million among others.

Also, the Executive Secretary stressed that governor Mohammed Badaru has already directed that all retirees be paid promptly.

Commenting on the verification exercise, the executive secretary stated that, soon the agency will come out with the rarified list of all pensioners in the state.
