Jigawa: Police Arrests Man For Stealing Motorbike

Police officers in Jigawa have arrested one Ibrahim Abdullahi  in possession of a stolen Jincheng Ladies Motorcycle belonging to one Engineer Abdulaziz Nakore of Aminu Inuwa Housing Estate Danmasara Quarters Dutse local government.

The thief aged 27 lives at Naibawa quarters, Kano State.

The State command's  Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Lawan Shiisu Adam disclosed this in a statement he issued in Dutse, the state capital.

According to him, the suspect confessed to being part of the gang that stole the motorcycle.

Ibrahim Abdullahi also admitted that his gang has been errorizing Aminu Inuwa Housing Estate Danmasara Quarters, Dutse LGA.

He narrated that, he broke in to several houses within the estate and made away with valuable items.

According to the PPRO, the valuable items discovered include: 1.58inch Plasma TV, one Rechargeable fan, two Rock carpet, One travelling bag and One bed sheet.

Other exhibits recovered are two caps, one pair of Suit and one T-shirt.

In the statement, DSP Shiisu also said police operatives similarly arrested Hassan Iliyasu ‘m’ age 18yrs, Zakar Mohd ‘m’ age 27yrs and Uzairu Mohd ‘m’ age 28yrs all of Hadejia LGA for alleged to have receiving stolen properties.

He said that the suspects also mentioned another a suspect, Mohd Khalil ‘m’ age 24yrs of B/Kudu LGA, who allegedly aided them in disposing a stolen motor vehicle in Katsina state.

He revelead that the Command under CP Effiom Emmanuel Ekot has recorded other achievements in the fight against crime and criminality in the state.

He added that the remarkable feat are due to the proactive approach to crime fighting adopted by the Command, as part of measures put in place to ensure that the state is peaceful and crime free.

He further assured Jigawa citizens and residents in the state his resolute in the fight against crime and criminality while calling for usual cooperation and supports.

He also called on residents to report any suspicious movement or faces to nearest Police stations for a quick intervention.
