Jigawa State Governor Orders Appointees To Resign

Jigawa State Governor, Muhammad Badaru Abubakar has directed all political appointees and civil servants interested in contesting elective positions to resign.

In a statement signed by his Special Adviser Media and Public Relations, Habibu Nuhu Kila on Wednesday, the governor said the concerned appointees should resign their appointment between today May 11and Monday, May 16, 2022. 

The statement added that the state Commissioner of Information Youths, Sports and Culture, Bala Ibrahim made the announcement shortly after the executive council meeting presided by Governor Badaru at the Council Chamber today. 

The Governor wishes those aspiring for elective positions the best of luck.
