A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Joe Igbokwe, has queried southeast traditional and political leaders on their ‘silence’ concerning the spate of insecurity in the region.
Igbokwe who is a special adviser to Lagos State Governor, made his thoughts known in a post on his Facebook page.
He said: “Are Igbo leaders aware of the shedding of innocent blood on a daily basis in the southeast, or are we still pretending to be unaware of what is going on?”
It would be recalled that last year, Igbokwe’s house in Nnewi, Anambra State, was razed.
