Nigerian singer Joseph Akinfenwa, popularly known as Joeboy, has reacted to the copyright infringement notice issued to him by Bukola Elemide aka Asa.
The notice dated September 30, gave Joeboy the ultimatum of 24 hours to bring down his recent song ‘Contour’ which was released in August 2022, as the musical composition infringes on the right of Asa.
Asa demanded a written apology, the sum of N300 million, as well as a 60% publishing split on the song.
Joeboy posted the notice on his Instastory of Monday evening and said that people assume that he is soft because he embraces peace.
He, however, urged Asa to do something as it's been 48 hours since he was issued the notice and he is yet to bring down the song.
“Cos I dey always do love and light you think sey I be soft meat.
“You said I have 24 hours, it's been 48 hours, do something,” Joeboy wrote.
