Nigerian singer Joeboy has dropped the official music video for ‘Body & Soul’ ahead of his sophomore album release.
The single serves as his first official release of the year, building up anticipation for the upcoming project.
The video, directed by the skilled director Perliks, portrays a relatable story of pre-marital pregnancy in the streets of Lagos.
However, Joeboy takes responsibility and stands by his love interest.
During a question and answer session with Channels TV in January, Joeboy announced that his sophomore album will be released in the first quarter of 2023.
The emPawa Africa recording artist also announced that guest performers on the album include up-and-coming musician Kemena, award-winning DJ and Producer Diplo, and Afrobeats maestro Tekno.
