Veteran juju artiste Dayo Kujore has passed away at the age of 63.
Kujore was known for pioneering the Nigerian-styled musical art form and his demise was announced by his daughter who disclosed that he died on Monday.
Details about his demise remain sketchy as the family is yet to make a formal announcement. More details will be shared as they are revealed.
Dayo Kujore was born on April 4, 1958, in Abeokuta, Ogun State. His musical career started when he began playing the guitar at age 10.
He rose to prominence after he created a new tune for the Juju genre known as Soko music.
