After much anticipations from music lovers, Nigeria super stars Wizkid, Davido and Burna Boy disappointed their fans by not releasing albums in the month of July, as promised.

While many had thought of having banging singles to make up their playlist for the month of July, the music stars failed their fans by not releasing the albums without explanations as to why the music efforts were delayed.

Recall that they  had made the announcements on their social media handles as their fans patiently wait for the release dates.

Wizkid had taken to his Instastories to give a hint that his album ‘Made In Lagos’ will drop on July 16 and as usual, Starboy received accolades throughout the whole day.

‘Made in Lagos’ will be Wizkid’s fourth album, after ‘Sounds from the Other Side’ released in 2016, ‘Ayo’ in 2014 and ‘Superstar’, his first in 2011.

For the album, he worked with Burna Boy, Sars, Mut4ySkepta, Kel P, Tay Iwar, Ella Mai, Tems, and Damian Marley on the album.

Although the DMW boss has been absent on social media platforms for some weeks, he earlier made announcements of his forthcoming studio album dubbed ‘A Better Time’

The announcement came just when fans of the afropop star were yet to have enough of ‘A Good Time’ that he released in November 2019.

Without stating the exact release date in July, "A Better Time" will be released 8 months after "A Good Time"

He tweeted "Album . July ... A BETTER TIME"

On his part, self-proclaimed African Giant with his unique vocals in the genre that blends afrobeats, dancehall rhythm, reggae and R&B, had in a question and answer session with his fans in March, Burna spoke on his loss in Grammys awards which seemingly influenced the upcoming album dubbed ‘Twice As Tall’

A fan asked how he felt about losing the award and the ‘Ye’ crooner said: “Sick. Totally sick. But my musical [email protected] told me everything I needed to understand about the Grammys. So now, I’m ‘Twice as Tall’ (that’s the name of my next Album by the way dropping in July by the grace of the most High.”

Perhaps, music producer Samklef was right when he said the trio are gradually waiting for each other to release album first.

“Wizkid, Davido and Burna Boy waiting for who will drop Album first ??? July don finish o,”
