Though it was unclear if the alleged robbers had succeeded in the operation before they were caught by the community people, reports, however, had it that the incident happened on Tuesday, July 21.

According to reports, the two middle-aged men were severely beaten before tyres were placed on them and they were burnt alive.

An eyewitness speaking on the incident said:

"Seriously, I’m really tired and bored of all these irritating thing happening in this Country.

"In as much as a crime should be frowned at, it’s still out of place to take laws into your hands.

"Why not reach to the police and hand them over?

"What exactly do you gain in participating in Jungle justice?

"This is too extreme, we are in a civilized society, such a barbaric act should not be obtainable in this century."

AllNews understands that as at the time of filing this report, no statement, however, has been made by the state Police command or any authority in the state.
