Days after a teenage girl was killed in Ibadan, another lady identified as Azeezat Shomuyiwa has been murdered in the Oyo state capital.
AllNews understands that Azeezat who was seven months pregnant was smashed on the head with a stone by her killers.
She was reportedly killed on Friday morning, in the Aba Eko area, Akinyele Local Government.
The Public Relations Officer of the state Police command, Olugbenga Fadeyi, who confirmed the incident said: “She was smashed with stone and not raped.
“The CP visited them at the Ijefun community today with DC, CID, SA, and EA security.
“Investigation has commenced on the matter.”
Azeezat was said to be a postgraduate student at the University of Ibadan.
