It seems the race is over now with another positive test for the Portuguese international and will miss the chance to face his eternal rival Lionel Messi who will be leading the Barcelona squad to Turin after the El Clasico on Saturday.
He was seen on Wednesday training in his house ahead of the game but all that will just be for his normal fitness as he would not be featuring in the game.

The last time the two most decorated Ballon dOr Winners met in the competition (UCL) was in the 2010-11 edition when Ronaldo was in Real Madrid and back when he was in Manchester United in the Champions League final in Rome.
With the new COVID-19 test, Ronaldo will surely not be available for selection for the match with Morata, Chiesa, and Kulusevski or Bernardeschi to be used his position.
