A recently released victim (name withheld) of the Kaduna-Abuja train attack who spent over 70 days in captivity has commenced a one-man protest to remind the government to show more commitment to securing the freedom of the remaining 50 abducted passengers still in captivity.

During her lone protest at the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Secretariat in Kaduna, she said her husband is still in captivity for over 89 days in the forest with the terrorists.

According to her, she is among the lucky released 10 victims of the Kaduna-Abuja train attack in the state.

The freed victim harped on the need for the government to intensify efforts toward dialoguing with the terrorists and finding ways to release the remaining 50 passengers.

She maintained that children and an old woman are among those in captivity facing all kinds of daily challenges which include ecological conditions, cold, rain, and other dangers.
