Kaduna: Army Announces Movement Of Personnel, Equipment, Cal

The Armed Forces Command and Staff College (AFCSC) Jaji, has announced the movement of personnel and equipment in Kaduna State.

The four-day field exercise code-named UBIAK-ISIN, would take place from June 10 to June 14. 

The army called on residents to remain calm and not panic over the exercise, adding that necessary security measures have been implemented to ensure public safety.

The exercise would take place in Wusono-Anguwan Lauya and Camp Salaya general area, located in the Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

Major Umar Adamu, the spokesperson for the AFCSC, made this known in a statement on Wednesday.

To ensure a smooth operation, Adamu urged the general public, especially those residing near the exercise area, not to panic upon witnessing the exercise. 

Furthermore, he advised individuals to steer clear of the exercise vicinity during the designated period.

He added that the upcoming field exercise demonstrates the commitment of the AFCSC to training and preparing the students of Junior Course 95 of the college. 

“In view of that, the general public, especially people living around the exercise area, are advised to remain calm and not to panic on sighting movement of troops and equipment or hearing of explosives and small arms.

“The general public is equally implored to keep off the vicinity of the exercise during this period,” Adamu said.
