Kaduna Governor-Elect Presents Book On El-Rufai's Leadership

The Kaduna State Governor-elect, Senator Uba Sani, has presented a book on Governor Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai's leadership written by a renowned journalist.

The book which was written by the Journalist, public affairs analyst and civil rights activist, Emmanuel Ado, was titled "Putting The People First: The El-Rufai Years".

The book presentation took place on Saturday at the Umaru Musa Yar'Adua Conference Centre in Kaduna.

The event was attended by Governor El-Rufai, his Rivers State counterpart, Nyesom Wike, top government officials, politicians and civil society activists.

The governor-elect made this known in a statement he personally signed on Saturday. 

"Today, I had the honour and privilege of serving as the Chief Presenter of an impressive book “Putting The People First: The El-Rufai Years” written by a frontline journalist, public affairs analyst and civil rights activist, Emmanuel Ado.

"The book presentation which took place at the Umaru Musa Yar'Adua Conference Centre, Kaduna brought together top government officials, politicians, civil society activists and media practitioners. 

"It was a great opportunity for a critical x-ray of Governor El-Rufai's contributions to the development of Kaduna State and Nigeria.

"The book “Putting The People First: The El-Rufai Years" is a robust defence of Governor Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai's pace-setting Administration. 

"It sheds more light on the vision, mission, and achievements of the Governor Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai Administration and the fact that it means well for the people despite the sustained efforts at distortion by forces alien to the progress and development of the state.

"I commend Emmanuel Ado for his deep insights and contributions to the growth and development of Kaduna State. 

"Special thanks to everyone who took out time to attend this very important event that celebrates the leadership of Mallam Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai as Governor of Kaduna State in the last eight years," Sani stated.
