Kano: Bagwai Local Government Asks Staff To Declare Assets

Public servants in Bagwai local government area of Kano State have been asked to declare their assets in accordance with constitutional provision.

The Director Personal Management of the council, Hamisu Ibrahim Kwankwaso gave the directive while speaking at distribution of Assets Declaration forms provided by the code of conduct Bureau to the local government Employees in his office.

A statement signed by the In laformation Officer of the local government, Tasi'u Jibo Dawanau said Kwankwaso described the Declaration of Assets by public servants as mandatory.

He stressed the need for local employees to comply for sustainable development.

In his remark, the Staff Officer of the local administration Safiyanu Magaji Shanono said they are working hand in hand with the Code Of Conduct Bureau to ensure a hitch free declaration exercise.

He said the code of conduct Bureau has procured five hundred and thirty seven forms to the local government employees aimed to declare their sssets for appropriate action.
