The explosion was reported from a gas at a welding shop on Aba Street
One of PDP's gubernatorial aspirant in Kano, Barrister Muhyi Magaji Rimin Gado has commiserated with the people of the state and Sabongari in particular over an explosion at ABA road where nine people have been confirmed dead so far.
Through a statement by his media office, Rimin Gado urged Kano residents to be vigilant and careful when going about for their daily activities.
Barrister Magaji noted that the strategic importance of Kano in the affairs of Nigeria can not be over emphasised due to the configuration of ethnic nationalities residing in the state.
"An explosion of such magnitude calls for sober reflection so that our common humanity will continue to unite us as we put hands on deck to take Kano to greater heights", the statement reads
He also urged against the spread of false information and fear in the hearts of people, adding that collective peace is vital for development.
