Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje
The Kano State Government says it is set to forward the names of commissioners to the state House of Assembly for approval.
Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje disclosed this shortly after the weekly executive council meeting, adding that the names have already been compiled and ready to be sent to the House.
The appointed commissioners, if approved would replace those who resigned to pursue political ambitions or joined other political parties.
The state commissioner of information, Muhammad Garba, is expected to brief journalists later on the outcome and resolutions of the sitting.
